This Lecture is by mentor, Robert Moss. The 92 St. Y is charging a $25 fee for this lecture, please contact the 92Y for more information. How Dreams Can Wake You Up: Three Secrets for Igniting your creative spark In this exciting, high-energy program with the author of The Three "Only" Things, we'll learn how dreams are a "creative studio" not only for artists and writers and musicians but for all of us in process of bringing something new into our world. We'll learn to become wide-awake dreamers by monitoring the symbols and synchronicities of everyday life, which helps us to engage the law of attraction and manifest the truth that "the passions of the soul work magic". We'll discover that if we can see our destination, we are better than halfway there and will practice a simple exercise for growing and strengthening a vision of creative life possibilities. In Robert's native Australia, the Aborigines say that the Big stories are hunting the right people to tell them. We'll learn that dreams put us in touch with our bigger stories and our larger life purpose. When we can make a connection between life's everyday dramas and a bigger story, we find courage and direction for whatever life throws at us. This program is available as an evening and One-day Workshop. The fee for the lecture is $25 payable to the 92 St. Y. The hard cover book, "Thee Only Things" costs $22. Hello Dreamers: I will be doing a dream workshop at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Queens. The chuch is located in Flushing, Queens, New York City. Unfortunately there are no direct subway connections. One would have to drive or take the bus there. -------------------- -------------------- --------- Workshop description: In dreams we temporarily leave the boundaries of waking reality and go unrestrained into fantastic uncharted territories. Dreams provide answers to questions that have yet to be asked. Unbound, we find dreams of healing, conversations with loved ones who have passed away, dreams of events yet to happen, or sometimes we come across strange and unusual messages. Whatever dreams you have, bring one with you. Let us explore its hidden meanings. The dreamer has the final say - the group simply offers insights as to what it could possibly mean. My personal belief is that visions are dreams we have when we are awake. The more I listen to my dreams the more visionary my life becomes. Please RSVP before coming to the meetup.

This event is full! I have closed RSVP to this event. Dream Workshop - Dream Workshop: Finding Wisdom in Your Sleep Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 6PM Queens Borough Public Library in Flushing 4117 Main St, Flushing, 11355 - (718) 661-1200 Free to the public. Registration is required with Queens Flushing Library. Public transportation: #7 train to the last stop in Flushing, Queens. LIRR to Flushing, Queens. Wake up and start dreaming! In a dynamic workshop we will explore the great potential and magic in our dreams. Many well known individuals have obtained invaluable information from their dreams. Harriet Tubman was guided in her heroic journeys in the underground railroad to help free slaves. Kekulé, the scientist dreamt of the structure of the benzene molecule. Some native traditions see dreams as a "secret wish of the soul". Dreams can help solve problems in our sleep, coach us for life's challenges, and provide guidance with our health. Dreams can be a secret laboratory for scientists, inventors, and discoverers. Dreams can inspire artists, direct us in our relationships and journey us onward to life's greater purpose. We will use the Lightning Dream work process as taught by author, dream teacher Robert Moss. The technique is a quick, fun, non-intrusive method of dream work in a group setting that encourages creative action to honor the messages of the dream. Max number of participants: 12

This coming Sunday, I plan to participate in a street fair in Flushing, Queens. The street fair will be on Sanford Ave between Union St. and Main St. I will start at 10:30 AM finish at around 5PM. My last street outreach in Astoria (April 29, 2007) went really well. ------------------ General Description: In another of our fantastic outreaches into the New York City community - we will again ask complete strangers to share their dreams. I love this form of dream activism! Many people have traveled to amazing territories in their dreams and don't even know it. Does you dream offer new knowledge? a new direction? answers to life's daily problems? or even communication with a loved one who has passed away? Let's explore the different messages in a dream. Come one, come all! We have had a lot of success at each one of our street outreaches. Who should come? All members of this meetup, especially in or near Flushing. Do members need to bring anything? Bring along a dream! Why should people come? Every night we are taken to wondrous territories in our dreams. Dreams break through boundaries of waking life. Many times we are taken beyond our limits of human understanding. Explore this royal door of wisdom and learning that is available to each one us during the night. And you thought sleeping was just for resting. Sleeping is for learning! Trains: Take the # 7 to the last stop. You may also take a LIRR train to Flushing, Queens.
