The annual conference of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) is going to held be in Bridgewater, Mass., this year -- down toward the Cape and very accessible to NYC. The dates are June 20-24.

There are still openings for volunteers; volunteers get discounts on conference registration. Also, the deadline for the dream-related art show is April 1.

IASD conferences are always a marvelous time! IASD consists in roughly equal parts of scientists, academic resesarchers, therapists, artists, and "just folks interested in dreams." And of course, many of us look at dreams through more than one of those lenses.

Conferences alternate East and West Coast; next year's is in Sonoma, Calif., and the year after that, Montreal -- so this is the closest one for a while. But all three years are going to be quite affordable, because they're on university campuses. (Some years, the conference is at a hotel.)
