Greetings Dreamers:

Just want to mention that we had some wonderful outreach into the Queens and Brooklyn community. October 29, 2006 was Metropolitan Ave. Street fair, in Middle Village, Queens and last Sunday (Nov 12) was on Court Street, downtown Brooklyn. We had some great success. This year, the Dream Clinic outreach has reached out to many individuals that we could not have reached otherwise.*

The last two outreaches were lots of fun and also challenging. I have to say it again, the more I do this outreach on New York City streets, the more I am enjoying it. I initially started these outreaches because I had trouble getting folks, especially Queens residents, to participate in my monthly meetups.

We all need to cultivate the inner dreamer, you know that part of us that dreams every night :) The dream self travels to amazing territories in our sleep, obtaining knowledge and wisdom practically out of thin air. We have to ask, where is the dreamer getting this daily dose of extraordinary knowledge? Another issue to look at is why are we not celebrating and cultivating the dreamer within? Since childhood we have been taught how to explore the outer realms but we have not received any guidance on exploring the inner realms. We dream every night and to discuss our dreams with others is to acknowledge this inner gift and create a dialogue between the known and the unknown.

Our dreaming mind thinks out of the box every night - it is unorthodox, skillful, intuitive, and if needed very blunt in its message. We ought to help this hidden, creative source become stronger by sharing our dreams, deciphering the messages, and nurturing the dreamer within.

Kumar Thomas.

All dreams come in the service of health and wholeness. Jeremy Taylor

*Many thanks to number of Robert Moss students and dream advocates who participated in this outreach: Roger and Gabrielle, Cesar and Bianca, Keri V., Maria O., Jennifer B., Gloria, and Eddie. If it wasn't for these brave dream workers I would be doing it myself.
